beth+jacob|ENGAGED

They met in college and he was smitten almost immediately. And who could blame him because she is the cutest thing you'll find anywhere. Soon, she was convinced that he was the one for her too.
Meet Beth and Jacob:

we started out this session at dock where these two like to hang out

this engagement session was filled with lot's of smiles and laughter. and I didn't even have to whip out my cheesy jokes. they just love being with each other that much

Beth: you're cute. ok?

again I wish I could say I was drinking "funny juice" that day, but it was all Jacob making her laugh

though they look so peaceful in this photo, looks can be deceiving. we were still near the water so the mosquitoes were desperately seeking a mid morning snack. and what more appetizing then a pair of sweethearts lying in the grass. thanks for being troopers guys!

this type of contrasty photo isn't my normal style, but I thought it fit this photo so well
One of my favorites from the day

I wanted to get a picture by Jacob and Beth's van because first of all it's such a great color, and second I thought it would be a great keepsake for them to pull out down the road and reminisce about "our first vehicle"
I love the following photos because I told them to look away from each other but in the photo on the left I caught Beth sneaking a peek back at Jacob. When I called her out on it I got the photo on the right
there's something about this picture that I just really love
another fave
Thanks again Jacob and Beth for enduring the heat and the mosquitoes and rocking the cuteness for my camera! You kids are "totes adorbs"!

Kelly+Brandon| Wedded Bliss

During a rather whirlwind weekend I flew up to Ohio to photograph the wedding of Kelly and Brandon. And I have been so very excited to blog this about it. Can I just say how in love I was with it? Just take a look:

Kelly: the picture of calm and smiles the morning of her wedding
The bride handmade these flowers for each of the girls in her wedding. Yeah, I'm officially impressed.
Kelly's beautiful engagement watch. Check out that detail!

The bride's shoes:

The bridesmaids' shoes:

This was Kelly the entire day: making sure everyone else looked and felt their best:

Kelly's eyes are money! Just sayin'....

The groom Brandon:

The couple opted for a "First Look" meeting:

The bride and her maids

more of those shoes...can you tell that I love them??

The bridal party headed downtown to grab a few shots. They got quite the stares from passersby:
The groom and his men:

So we kinda stopped traffic...just a bit...
This wedding had an overload of cute children:
A quick bit of primping:

I loved Kelly and Brandon's getaway vehicle. This antique van that matched their wedding so well:
Can you see me?? Ten points if you can!!

sigh....so sweet

The reception:

So much hard work and detail and creativeness went into it.

These little cake topper birds were adorable. The bride found similar ones on Etsy but wasn't able to get them. So she had a friend whip them up for her. So cute, right?
Oh by the way that cake? Yeah it was an ice cream cake. Love!

One last shot of the happy couple:
Thanks so much, Kelly and Brandon, for letting me be a part of your big day. I thoroughly enjoyed it!!
