hold your onto your britches for some of the cutest children and bluest eyes you've ever seen:

the minute I whipped out my camera aaliyah snapped into modely cuteness mode

this photo session took place during amani's nap time so she was completely unphased by most attempts to get her to smile, BUT occasionally during an extremely valiant effort a little sweet smile would poke through

this just makes me smile

as you've probably already noticed, we found one of the most colorful areas in town for pictures. I was in love love love =)

brittany+eric| engaged

she said yes, and [he] said wow, and she said when, and [he] said how about right now....

yes I am shamelessly quoting a country song. at that time of year when new beginnings are springing up everywhere, eric asked brittany to be his wife and she did indeed say yes. 

and yes I am just now getting around to blogging their love....don't judge me, K? 

 eric is a marine who is currently serving overseas. something about this photo gives off that "strong soldier" vibe =)

the sisters smith| family

It was a typical day in November when I received a message from an old college friend, Me'lissa. She was planning on coming into town for her sister's graduation and was wanting some pictures done of her and her sisters. Knowing how special sisters are and how great it would be to have pictures together, I said yes. We frolicked around various areas of Palm Beach, capturing the special bond these girls have. Here's the result:

these girls are not only beautiful, but also stylish and creative. love it

as I told the girls that day: I'm a little jealous of them. I wish my sisters and I had fun cutesy pictures together ..

then, right before the sun disappeared completely we went down to the beach for a "winter in Florida" look

for the record, though these are in Florida it WAS actually really cold, but these girls brought the heat =)
