beth+jacob|WEDDED BLISS

It was bright and sunny that December morning. The birds were singing, the sky was blue. It was the perfect day for a beach wedding. But by time the sweet bride, Beth, had pinned her last curl, the storm clouds had settled in. The gray clouds soon gave way to torrential downpour, and all plans for a beach wedding were soon forgotten. Beth and her groom, Jacob,however, were determined not to let the weather set the tone for their day.  A day that could have been considered a disaster, ended on a sweet and happy note.

Beth's sister helped her into her dress. Notice how much they look alike!

Beth and Jacob opted for a first look. 

this picture makes me laugh. this "grooming" moment always inevitably happens after the first look

cue one sharp looking bridal party....(notice the rain drops)

things got a little "wild"....(man I am corny!!)

then Beth decided to poor on the hot sauce

and what does every beautiful bride need? a sharp looking groom, that's what:

after standing in the rain for awhile, I made them switch with me...they took it in stride and brought the cuteness

reminds me of lyrics from my favorite movie "Singin' in the Rain"

"I'm laughing at clouds,So dark up above,The sun's in my heart,And I'm ready for love"

instead of the beach wedding they'd planned, the ceremony was held at their reception site

Jacob sprinkled the floor with flowers in lieu of the traditional aisle runner. made for a sweet and slightly humorous moment

I am getting so predictable but I always love this moment when the dad gives his little girl away

after the ceremony, the rain cleared up and we were able to run down to the beach and get some pictures before the light completely disappeared

after their engagement shoot jumping picture we had to carry on tradition
