ashley| just for fun

I don't know what possessed me to ask. I had, afterall, never done it before. But I went to her and asked "Ashley, can I take some senior pictures of you?" Her response: "Sure". I had never done a real photo shoot in my life before taking Ashley's senior pictures. All I owned was a tiny point and shoot camera. But I guess you could say that was the beginning of it all. Yes, I still look back on that shoot and shudder about how awful some of those pictures were(on my part, not hers). But that photo shoot is my roots...it's where I started. And for that reason I love it. To this day Ashley is one of my favorite people to shoot. She's always up for anything and we always have so much fun. In catching up with blogging some of my summer shoots, here she is again:

When I said Ashley is always up for anything, I mean like hovering precariously over several inches of water for this pose. We even waded through about 8in water to get to this spot in the first place! Talk about dedicated!


"Ashley, ashley, quite.....fantasty. How are your eyes so blue?"(in case you were wanting to sing that it's to the tune of "Mary Quite Contrary"

I love the way her eyes look almost like wolf eyes here. So fierce!


What luck we had finding this placed that matched her outfit exactly. This is a fave:





I mean, what can I say? I'm just THAT funny. It's a hard job, but someone has to bring laughter to the world...(insert sarcasm here)







So another testament to how behind I am: Ashley has since then had here braces taken off. And they are perfecto.....I guess that means another photo shoot is in order?

Another case in point of being up for anything. If I had pulled back on this shot, you would be able to see the nasty grease pit we were standing in. But I just kind liked the wall...so whatev, we went for it!







Ok, Ash, we get it, you're beautiful! Enough already!
